Haleleʻa: History and Resource Management

Graduate Student: Kamealoha Forrest

The goal of the Haleleʻa Land Management Project is to gather information about land, natural resources and their management within and around the Haleleʻa district, through the use of the Hawaiian Newspapers and archival records. This information will then be mapped and stored in a database to better serve the Haleleʻa community in learning about and understanding the importance of this place and its history.
